Mispellings That Drive Me Nuts

He's is not his.

Bulletin is not bulliten.

Definitely is not defiantly or definatly.

Please use the correct there/their/they're.

Santa's last name is Claus. A clause is found in a contract.

It's vouch, not 'vouge'.
Just a laaazy Sunday today. Went to church at 9:30 this morning because everyone was too lazy to get up for the 8am mass. We're going to a different church now. It's closer than the other one, and I don't mean to be mean but it's just..better. Is it bad to move parishes just because the services are better? *hangs head in shame*

I was an usher at work yesterday. Had some stupid lady carrying Macca's and bitching at me. I told her that hot food is not permitted in our cinemas and she had two options: eat it now (outside) and then enter, or leave it with us and then pick it up later. I asked what she was going to do and all I got was "yes, I comprehend that, that's what we're going to do". WTF. Which one, you bogan idiot? She was almost past the gate, so I ripped her ticket and expected her to hand the food over, but she just walked away and muttered something under her breath. To which I responded "Well then, how can you say you 'comprehend' and just keep it with you?" She kept walking. I heard her daughter telling her something like "Mum, you're not allowed to have McDonald's here", then she turned around and told me that they weren't going to watch the movie anymore and just get a refund. I replied, "That's fine. Thank you, see you later." Ying told me that it was the same lady who 'went apeshit' about having to pay for a ticket for a 3-year old. Some people are fucking ridiculous. This reminds me, I should transfer my 'Memorable Customers' blogpost from my myspace blog.

The draft roster says I'm working on Boxing Day. I didn't volunteer to work that day.. but apparently I'm working in ticketbox with some cool people, and public holiday rates are nothing to complain about.

My gumboot search continues. I keep finding cute ones for babies and little kids, but none in my size. Boooo. I found these cute butterfly ones on eBay but I don't want to risk it. I'm not going to buy a pair of shoes unless I'm 100% positive they're my size.

Received some Borders vouchers in my inbox. 40% off a full-priced DVD is such a great offer. :)

The Victoria's Secret Fashion show was on again last night. All the girls are CALIENTE. I'd love to have a body like that. But then again I love my food.

Ahhhh Christmas.

I think Westfield Parramatta have done a great job decorating the place this year.

Blacktown Westpoint have done such a shit job, that I only bothered to take one picture.

Thank you for being a friiiieeeend (8)

What? The Golden Girls Season One on DVD
When? Cammy and Katrina's Day Out (Monday)
Where? JB Hi-Fi Level 5, Westfield Parramatta. The food court is such a weird place to have a store like JB Hi-Fi, IMHO. As you walk towards it, you're like 'food..food..food..DVDs!'
Price? Was $19.99, got it for $16
Why? Why the hell not? I love this show. I'm up to disc 3 and I've laughed my ass off in each episode so far.

I need more bags like this.

What? Black Miss Shop clutch
When? Cammy and Katrina's Day Out (Monday)
Where? Myer Parramatta
Price? Was $24.95, got it for $14.95
Why? Because I don't have any clutch bags.. and I should. I hate having to lug a bag on my shoulder if I just need my mobile, keys and wallet.

Best eBay buy ever.

What? Antique-style key necklace
When? Last Friday
Where? Green Kitten Jewellery, eBay store
Price? $12.50 + $2 postage
Why? I've bought from Green Kitten Jewellery before, and the store always has such cute quality items for great prices :)

Getting back into reading..

What?A Girl For All Seasons: The Year In High Heels by Camilla Morton
When?December 1..or something.
Where?Borders
Price?After using my 30% voucher, it went from $35.95 to $25.15 :D
Why? I loved her first book (How To Walk In High Heels).

LOL

Oh my goodness, The Adventures of Spot is on TV right now. I remember this show so well. I loved it. I'm sure I even had the books, which I'm sure came before the show. Just seeing Spot again is bringing the biggest and silliest smile to my face.

I wish they could've kept Postman Pat and Fireman Sam like this, instead of 'modernising' them. I wish my little sister could experience those shows the way I did.

I wish my mom would stop giving in to fundraising.

I've placed it next to me and I'm seeing how long I can resist.

MY HEADPHOOOOONES

I've narrowed down my headphone wish list to 4 models.

Skullcandy Hesh

Skullcandy Low Rider

Sony Ear-Clip

Panasonic Ear Candy

The main factor is how I'll look wearing them when I'm out. Second is how well they'll stay. I have stupid ears, so I'm not sure about the Panasonic ones, which are really earphones. And the Sony ones might not grip well on my small ears, and they might hurt after a while.

HELP ME DECIDE!

I'm So Ronery

Think I'll watch that movie today. Since it is my first day of freedom and I can do anything I want! ...After doing laundry for my mom, of course. Grr.

There's an advanced screening of Bee Movie at work tonight. Think I might go to that. I heard there's some 'word of mouth' screening of Juno coming up, and I really really really want to see that. Michael Cera is amazing. *drool*

HOLD UP- just got a text. It's from Katrina asking what time I'll be at TAFE, dated yesterday at 3pm. Fuck I hate this phone sometimes. Sometimes I get texts from several days ago. It makes people think I'm a friggin snob.

Alala Alala (8)

GOD CSS ARE FUCKING AWESOME.

Did my final exam tonight. Freedommmmmmmmm. I usually snigger at people who use up all the exam time, but I left the room when there was about 20minutes left. I really didn't think I'd stay that long :S Fucking hell I'm so stupid- I put my student ID card in my pocket, which is a bastard of a pocket really, it's like half the depth of a normal jeans one. And what do you know, when I get home, guess what I've got? Empty fucking pockets. I sure hope it's just in the car, because I've looked and looked and it's not in my bag. AAAAAAAARGH. I need that card. Full train and bus fares are fucking ridiculous- even when I don't travel that far. And plus, I dread someone finding it and what they would do with it. Please please please hand it in to the TAFE office, person-who-has-picked-it-up. Even if you've drawn a moustache and glasses on it, seriously, I need it back.

Gross.

Last night I had the most bizarre meal I've ever ordered. As I skimmed the menu, I thought 'baked porkchops and rice' sounded good, so I went with that. Then when it was placed in front of me, I couldn't help but just stare at it in disbelief.

It was like some weird mix of battered porkchops, lasagne sauce and fried rice. I think whoever came up with this dish was a little too enthusiastic. The picture shows you how much I ate could tolerate.

What? Baked porkchops and fried rice
When? Last night
Where? Sun Ming, Eastwood

Mmmmmacaroons.

Mom, Chelsea and I made macaroons today.
