Woo! Nice weekend.

This weekend was a good one, because I actually did stuff.

Last night, I went to my good friend Christine's 21st birthday dinner. It was so nice to catch up and see some friends I haven't seen since 2005. Interesting nursing stories were thrown around, including one about an old person with a fudgie in their hand, and another about a "gangrenous penis". Theresa amused me greatly by adding a cheesy seafood vol au vent to her dessert plate, and downing two cups of hot water.

I had a pretty good retail therapy experience today. I bought:
  1. Two dresses from some Asian boutique
  2. An Esprit sweater (from $80 down to $40)
  3. A Myer kids cardigan (yes, I fit in them)
  4. 1837 Tiffany and Co ring
I'm glad I now have two options when it comes to what to wear to my friend Karen's party. I was looking in Myer and David Jones, and everything was either not available in size 6 or out of my budget. In David Jones, I saw this black ruffled dress that I loved, and my heart sank when I looked at the tag- it was an Akira Isogawa and it was $1099. *dies*

I'm still revelling at my first Tiffany and Co. Ahh...it's so shiny. The Tiffany store is awesome. If I could, I'd buy one of everything.

Damn it, I still hate Winter. I hate the cold, the rain and how the wind makes me feel ten times worse.

Apparently my dad heard the neighbors screwing last night. If I hear them tonight, I'm going to march up to their door, knock and tell them to shut the hell up.

Weirdest Spam Emails Ever

From: "Dania Eneida"
Subject: "No Study! Buy University D1ploma/Degree/Bacheloor/MBAa/PhDd & Deliver to you..."
Snippet: "It cost you NOTHING!"

OMG. All this time I've been wasting at Macquarie.. when I could get my "Bacheloor" for "NOTHING!" And why on Earth didn't my GP stay at medical school to achieve a "PhDd" instead of just a PhD? Come on, doc.

----------------------------------------------------

From: "Selmeczki"
Subject: "Son Stabbed To Death, Mother Injured"
Snippet: "Boy kills cats and eats them"

...Well that was an interesting segue.

----------------------------------------------------

From: "Looman"
Subject: "Britney Spears Announces Third Pregnancy"
Snippet: "You are given a warning letter from the IT department"

With a name like Looman, he ought to be a plumber. I think I'll be contacting the "IT department" to tell them about the shit (heh) that Loo is flooding (heh heh) everyone's inboxes with.

----------------------------------------------------

From: "Doucette"
Subject: "Anne Hathaway dairies seized by FBI"
Snippet: "X-Files set to open with bigger success than Dark Knight"

How on Earth did the FBI fit all those cows into their evidence lockers? And a movie bigger than The Dark Knight? Puh-lease.

----------------------------------------------------

From: "Dyke"
Subject: "Spongebob Denies Reports That He's Gay"
Snippet: "Gay Men Perceive Each Other As Homophobic"

...LOL. Just....LOL.

----------------------------------------------------

From: "Futoma"
Subject: "Your bank information may be compromised"
Snippet: "Look at him, such good looks make him popular with the girls."

Uh...okay buddy, are you going to help me with my banking security or what?

Back to uni next Tuesday. It sucks that internet time will be classified as 'procrastinating', as of next week. I'm feeling so lazy and unmotivated. I don't wanna go baaaack..

I've really enjoyed waking up at 8:30am, wasting all my time on YouTube and the Vogue forums, and watching The Morning Show.

My bandwidth has been shaped, damn it. So I'm gonna have to wait an hour for this Gossip Girl episode to load. I wish Gossip Girl was on free-to-air.

Had quite a bit of retail therapy yesterday. I bought a little surprise for Katrina, a PAC-MAN belt for Mike and a scratch-n-sniff PEZ shirt and plaid shirtdress for me.. and that was just on eBay. I really like the clothes from Target now- I got a nice black satiny white-polka dotted shirt and a striped long-sleeve henley that reminds my mom of Beetlejuice. I also got a cute pair of Free Fusion denim shorts. Bought them full price, but at $30 I honestly don't mind. And finally, I got two Beatles shirts from the Virgin Music section of Myer for...$10! Yes, $10 for both! Thanks to my 50% Pulse discount. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the RRP on the tags (under the 'reduced to $9.99' sticker) was $39.99 each. It's not so much that I'm a bargain hunter.. the bargains just seem to find me. :P

This morning when I dropped my sister off to school, the weather was sunny and beautiful. Now it's cold, dark and windy again. Only one month of Winter to go.. Thank God.

By the way, when will someone invent an umbrella that won't flip over in the wind?
