If you're reading this blog, then wow- you must be bored. :/
Anyhoo. I'm Camille, 21, an Australian-born Filipino in Sydney. Typical girly girl. My interests are along the right-hand side of this site.

Fuuuck. What a great day off.

Right now, it's damn pouring and looks like a thunderstorm is imminent. I need to shower, but I wont start until I'm sure there's no chance the power will cut out.

Today is my first day off from uni. It's been shitty so far. I woke up with cramps. I heard the phone ringing down the hall and ran to get it.. and when I picked it up, the caller had just hung up. It's bucketing down and I still haven't found gumboots. I saw some at Westfield a week ago, but they were so damn huge that Ian Thorpe would have to wear them with a couple of extra pairs of socks and some insoles. Heh, Ian Thorpe. What is he doing nowadays? I had the biggest crush on him back in year 7. *shudder*

I really should be reading something for Cultural Studies. Heck, it's only 10:40am. I have all day. Well, until my eyebrow wax appointment at least. Yessssss finally, my eyebrows have been looking like gross caterpillars lately.

I withdrew from my French class. The teacher was far too anal about us putting on a perfect accent. I could tell it wasn't going to be as fun as high school French. She pointed at 'e' and 'è', and said "zees eez prrronounce urgh..and zees eez prrronounce urgh..see de deeferrense?" To which everyone laughed and thought 'WTF' (or 'vat ze fuck' en français). But yes. I withdrew from that class and I'm now studying Spanish. I had my first Spanish class yesterday, and it's so so sooo much better. I was amused that I was so familiar with a lot of words already, since Tagalog is pretty much based on Español. I found it funny that the Filipino word for stinky (baho) was pronounced the same as the Spanish word for short (bajo). The teacher also mentioned that 'pajero' is pronounced 'pa-hhhero' (I put three h's there, because I don't know how else to type that sound that resembles the hocking of phlegm) and means 'wanker'. I'd hate to be a Pajero driver then.
