Waiting And Wanting To Go Home

..at my grandparents house at the moment. Mom and my aunties are making spring rolls. *stomach grumble*

While I'm curled up here on one of the couches, let me share what comes up while my iPod is on shuffle.

  1. If You Leave - OMD Love this song. Nada Surf's cover was pretty good, too.

  2. When It All Falls Apart - The Veronicas As much as I hate to admit, their first few singles were really not that bad.

  3. Songbird - Kenny G A song that seriously reminds me of when I was little..featured in two movies I enjoy: Cars and The Master of Disguise...and the Westfield elevator.

  4. Stay (I Missed You) - New Found Glory A damn good cover, featuring Ms Lisa Loeb herself.

  5. Back Here - BBMak Is that not the most awkward band name ever? Ridiculous name aside, I love this song. It's so frickin sweet. And boybands rule.

  6. Let It Bleed - The Used My favourite song by The Used. It's catchy. Even though I don't know what it means (and probably never will), I love singing it. And failing at the scream parts.

  7. Kansa City/Hey Hey Hey - The Beatles I knew a Fab Four song was bound to turn up. I like this one. Aaaah Paul McCartney FTW.

  8. Turn Back Time - Aqua OH. MY. GOD. This was ONLY my favourite song of all my primary school years. I remember listening to the CD single all the friggin time and my then-BFF Linda asking me to sing it every lunchtime because she thought I should enter the talent quest that year. And who could forget this song as part of the Sliding Doors soundtrack? Gwyneth's best movie, IMHO. Fucking awesome tearjerker.

  9. The Golden Girls - Theme Song Shut your pie hole. I love this show.

  10. Happy Tree Friends - Theme Song A show I really loved until everyone else started loving it too. I'm a selfish bitch.

  11. Wonderwall - Oasis One of the best 90s songs.

And yay I'm going home now!
